School Improvement Team
School Improvement Leadership Team (SILT)
The School Improvement Leadership Team will develop and assess the progress of the HES School Improvement Plan. This team will align resources (financial, time, community and personnel) to the School Improvement Plan. This team will examine opportunities for grant writing and assess school culture.
- Accountable for examining a specific school-wide issue or concern and develop plans for improvement
- Accountable for enhancing parent and community involvement in school improvement and give voice to parent/community needs and concerns
- Accountable for building school-wide input, involvement and commitment to the school’s improvement priorities
- Accountable for creating the conditions that help the adults in the school continually improve upon their collective capacity to ensure all students acquire the knowledge, skills and dispositions essential to their success.
